The Drawing course aims to introduce students to the language of drawing through observation, symmetry, and proportion. Shapes and volumes are also taught enabling each student to develop an appreciation of drawing.  An “investigation of reality and as personal language for knowledge.”.  Still life and life drawing, as well as learning the methods used by the masters of drawing and painting, form a substantial part of this course.
